İstatistiklere Bak:
Low FPS on RTX 3080 and i7 14700k 1440p
So the system requirements are saying rtx 3060Ti, yet i just made it to the open world and my frames just tanked right down to 40-45fps. Im seeing people saying they run this fun on an RTX 3080 so im not sure whats going on?

Edit: Thanks for the help everyone it was User error i wasnt restarting my game after applying my settings. After doing so im now running the game on high-ultra settings with DLSS enabled at 70-100+fps.

Settings and resolution? Using DLSS? Using frame generation? Using Ray-tracing?

it could potentially be Ray Tracing related since i cant find the setting to turn it off it feels like my frames are being destroyed and raytracing usually is the culprit for that

Cannot really point to them as I am on AMD here. All I know is I find FSR under Temporal Upscaling, Video section and Frame Generation also in the Video section. I also suspect that Raytracing is NOT enabled by default, if available.

But maybe a fellow NVIDIA user can help you better.

Seems to play fine on my RX 6800 XT maxed out on 3440x1440 without FSR. Wonder if you have other issues.
I'm surprised someone is having a worse experience than my RX 6750 XT, I thought ray tracing runs much faster on nvidia.

Are you sure your drivers are installed?
Raytracing isn't listed as Raytracing.
Certain options (like reflections) use raytracing.
You have to read the descriptions for each individual entry.
Chances are you've enabled it without being aware of it.

You won't get native at 1440p with 60+ FPS on a 3080. Try with quality DLSS. I run a 4070 Ti Super (with i7 13700KF and 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30) with ultra quality DLSS and even I dip down (rarely) below 60 in certain areas though for the most part I'm getting 60+ FPS, sometimes over 100. Quality DLSS would get me more consistently over 100. Your card is inferior to mine so try Quality DLSS. You could also be vRAM limited...this game is very vRAM intensive on my settings (1440p) it's allocating over 15GB vRAM and actively using 12-13GB. Your 3080 only has 10GB so that could be a factor.

yeah thats fine i intend on upgrading soon i wanna get a 4090 but i dont know whether to just way for the 50series but the amount of games starting to chug on this 3080 is driving me nuts
Sounds like game favors AMD.
