I think it could really benefit the game to let us disable collision between objects and let us move objects freely, maybe being able to switch between grid mode and freehand

New Publisher & New Playtest!

The past months we've been working hard in the background to make Cozy Marbles a bigger, better & more beautiful game. Today i am super proud to share:

Pixel Pea Games, the developer behind Cozy Marbles, has signed a publishing deal with UK-based publisher Mythwright!

Mythwright is an amazing indie games publisher, publishing both simulation games and creative sandbox games such as Going Medieval, Bladesong, Scriptorium and Innkeep.

I feel like this is a great home for my creative marble simulator ːsteamhappyː

But there is more:

A new playtest is now live!

You can sign up and play right now! There is tons of new stuff: New environments, new graphics, new features, new physics. I can't wait for your feedback to make this game the most satisfying 'build-and-race-marbles' game ever.

Cozy Marbles Demo Update

Today I removed the Cozy Marbles demo, so I quickly wanted to give an update as to why. The demo has been live since June 2024 and since then I’ve made some pretty big changes to the game during development, so it doesn’t quite fully reflect the current state of the game.

I plan on putting another demo live in the future and hosting playtests as well. Sign-up for the next playtest here via the ‘request access’ button - although I don’t have a date for a playtest yet, when I’m ready to start testing I’ll let you know.

As I work hard on code, art and content for Cozy Marbles, I’d love to hear from you! What are the things you want to see and be able to do in this game?

Feedback + content creation?

the depth of field need to be better , i used the whole mat for a build and the view is just not good enough, maybe you should work with a variable axis XYZ to define the zero point of view so we can scroll in or out from that particular selected point 0. You are using a grid already in 3d shoul not be so hard to implement the code to be able to snap on view on the grid for that. I noticed that single runs go smoother and that multi runs the physics change so many balls will fall of track. i must say i mad...
