Salt and Sanctuary is a good game; it's heavily inspired by the series called "Dark Souls." (I can see it because the series of Dark Souls itself is a really good game.) The whole game is about you and your crew being on a ship, and you get attacked by these creatures (and a boss when you first start the game), and they attack you and your crew, and you're the last person alive. You attack them and then die, and there you start off, battling off foes and bosses (there'll be a message in a bottle that is very useful and it helps you too), earning salt (which helps you actually level up), leveling up, and continuing to attack and loot your foes.

This game has to be the best dark-souls/platformer game i have ever experience in a long time! can't wait to play the 2nd installment! :steamthumbsup:9/10 :spyro::mpn_jeb:

pros.

- amazing combat skills and a good flow of fighting
- the parkor and timeing or everything was smooth and worth the challenge.
-story was hard to get into but loved the being holly or devil type of vibe an had some nice characters played into it.

Cons..
-there HAS to a mini-map this game..🤣

other than that i can't complain.

It's been many years since I've played Salt and Sanctuary. I'm not sure if this game holds up if stacked against more modern titles like hollow knight for example, but I still remember many of it's locations and enemies vividly. The ending especially stuck with me to this day. There's some good ♥♥♥♥ in here.
