Can't make jump in upper ziggurat

After leaving the Ziggurat of Dust sanctuary, climbing to the upper level, going left and killing the arrox and the two lieches, I can't jump up to the platform where one of the lieches is. I shadow flip off the wall and my character just sails on through the platform. I've seen videos of characters making this jump and every walkthrough I've seen says this is the path forward.

Anyone else experience this?

EDIT: Finally managed to make this. Took dozens of tries and random spamming of light attack somehow managed to magically stick my dude's feet to the platform. Still seems like a bug, but one I've overcome now.
