I hate cheap bosses in games.
I figured out what I was doing wrong, apart from playing the game.
I didn't treat this as a souls like game and chose a class. I NEVER do that. I ALWAYS go depreived/wretched or whatnot. So I rerolled and made a pauper, this games version it seems, and have been having a FAR easier time with it. Boss still gave me trouble, but using a Tachi +4, a set of light armor and a decent amount of dex plus pitchfire, he finally went down.
That and you can have a set that can negate most of the fire damage too.
what the hell are you talking about?
it zero matters which class you choose.
the only thing that changes is that you maybe have to grind salt for 20 more minutes to unlock a skill another class has.
And then I got to the witch of the lake...
Hey this is just what I use with my sword mage build. I did not find this boss hard and was wondering what the issue was.
I just bait the lightning and roll through into slashing. Trickle on the magic while I recover kiting him with fire. Watch for that distance jump.
That and I forgot how to fight two bosses in tandem. This games version of Orenstien and Smough.
