Death's Gambit — one of the closest alternatives for Salt and Sanctuary, a soulslike metroidvania;
The Tarnishing of Juxtia — almost like Death's Gambit, but simpler in general;
Astlibra Revision — rather a slasher RPG than a soulslike, but still worth trying, a bit of metroidvania and a long mind-bending story;
They Always Run — as far as I know, mostly a story-driven adventure metroidvania.
Hollow Knight - you probably know this one.
Eastern Exorcist - this one isn't really a metroidvania, it's much more focused on the combat, but it looks and feels great. Only downside is the game is pretty short.
Vigil: The Longest Night - never actually played this one, so I can't vouch for it, but it looks similar to salt and sanctuary.
- Ori (2) and the Will of the Wisps (both Ori games very recommended!)
- F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch (hidden gem game !)
- Ender Lilies
- Hollow Knight
