Ember Skulls and Daggers
I have gotten relatively far with one of my characters. But I started a new game with my cleric using daggers. I have gotten to the point theres a ♥♥♥♥ load of emberskulls. At first with my original profile I only had a little trouble but now I cant win against these ♥♥♥♥ skulls. Im a cleric that uses daggers how the hell do I beat Ember Skulls. Does anyone know a good way to kill them with daggers??? If not why the hell are these things so OP being so early in the game???

If you started as a cleric, just switch to the mace to take out the skulls for now(It should kill them in 2-3 hits with no buff), later you should get some prayers that should deal with any of flying enemies.

Ember Skulls are a pain in the rear for pretty much anyone, but I've found the following tip to be real useful in beating them.

When they charge at you, first use a light attack (LMB) hitting nothing but air. Then time your strong attack so your RMB flip-kick hits it square in the face as it closes in. More often than not, this will 1shot an emberskull or at least stun it. If facing more than 1 skull, dodgeroll through them in order to group them, then kick them in the face.

If you have the ray of searing prayer (which is actually in the castle you're in, but you can also buy it from a cleric at any sanctuary), try using that. It hasn't got much range horizontally, but if you can get under the skulls and fire it off, it might just work. Haven't tried it myself because I played my cleric in coop and had my friend kill those annoying boneheads.

Haven't had much of an issue with them past the first few encounters and i'm using a dagger as well. The flip kick in their approach works well as said above. If you miss and get into a fight, best thing to do is just run at them. They'll try to get behind you before charging so you can bait them into attacks and just stab them once or twice after they miss.

I play a dagger thief/fastroll build without an offhand. But for these little buggers I make an exception and equip a flintlock pistol which shreds them to pieces.
