About bows

I just finished my run playing bow, hunter, all bosses. 9h30min.

IMO, bow should be more strong or at least have more damage variety, not because of bosses, but because of the game itself (playing from distance in this game is very strong vs bosses).

According to the wiki, we have only 6 bows, only one is found in the game (the normal one), the others are from transmute.

Attack variety: 8, 10, 10, 12, 10. 9/9 holy.

All types can be trasmute using normal materials (not from bosses) and the difference from each other is very small. So basically, I feel playing the same weapon all the time, :S.

I finished using the Aegis Greatbow tier 7 and I have the material to transmute to Gravewalker Greatbow, but I don't know if is better, looks like a cleric archer (scale with wisdow).

Aegis tier 7 is good, the flame arrow + elemental buff deals decent damage to bosses.

There are good rings for bows (+dex +atkpower +staminaRegen +rollingSpeed), but is impossible to use charms. Using charms with bows in the second arrow slot would help a lot (more damage/atk speed/less stamina consumed).

The most annoying thing is a creature with a shield... Bows can't break guard, you can parry but you can't stagger (animation) with a bow. So, just skip all the creatures using a shield.

But is very fun.

Flame/Poison arrows are better for sure, but very small difference, maybe because is low cost too.

And some very interesting arrows (Dark Arrows) are spells and not ammunition. =(
