Yes the host need to be the sellsword and the coop friend needs to be main character and use keyboard. so host = controller coop = keyboard its a mess but it does work

Use Moonlight. It uses Nvidia's streaming APi but works much better, for example allowing both client and host to use a controller and more options like mapping controller, and setting stream quality.

Thanks man, I appreciate the tip. I'll have to check it out if gamestream becomes a hassle

Moonlight really is better in every way. And the host doesn't even have to download anything.

I'm connecting to my friend and we can both use controllers, but he plays with mouse and keyboard because he prefers that. I am the sellsword, makes sense since I'm actually connecting to his computer.

Also, like already stated, the quality is higher, the bitrate is higher (and can be set to 30 or 60fps).

And, don't forget - there's no time limit at all.

You've tried it already? I can't get it to work. Do I put Salt.exe under SHIELD applications? and then my friend just enters my IP? How do I start the stream?

I would also like to know how to setup the moonlight coop session because we tried it yesterday and my friend couldn't see video at all but it was registering his controller via moonlight and he could hear sounds.

Yes, we've played the game for about two hours already.

I can't say EXACTLY how to do it on the host computer since I'm always joining my friend (I have an AMD card so I can't host). But yeah, it's something like that. You add the game for streaming manually - or let the program search your computer and add the games it finds.

After that, your friend downloads Moonlight, type in your IP and click "Pair". Your friend will see a number on his screen, which you'll enter into the box that pops up on your PC.

Done. Now he can click "show app list" and start any game that's in that list.

You might need to update your Geforce Experience to the latest beta version if you haven't already.

Make sure you have the latest version of Geforce Experience. If your friend still doesn't see any video, he could try download v0.6.6.1 of Moonlight instead of v0.7.4.1.
