And you could place markers on the map for hidden stuff you can't reach yet.
Such a thing is never needed in a "Dark Souls", but I think it's needed in this game, cause I hate to think about: "Where was this place where I can't jump high enough?".
Sure, "Dark Souls" is a "3D Metroidvania", but without movement upgrades and unreachable things till you get some upgrade.
Finding your way in 3D is MUCH easier than in 2D...
No need for a detailed map of each area.. Just a world map showing what zones(already discovered) are connected..
I think a map could be worth it, but for now, make online coop.
