Controller issue

I have connected my ps4 controller through wire to my computer, and it works fine in big picture mode on steam. However, when I launch SaS the keyboard takes over. I looked in the settings and I have mouse disabled and the PS4 icons enabled as well. What should I do?

You can use a PS4 controller with the game if you download InputMapper. Lots of PC games don't have native support for the PS4 controller, so InputMapper emulates an Xbox 360 controller and translates the PS4 input into something the game can interpret.

If you don't install InputMapper (or some other controller remapping software) then your controller just won't work with the game. The issue is that Sony never makes PC drivers for their controllers, so the developers would have to put in a bunch of effort just to make up for Sony's laziness. That effort isn't really worth it when only a fraction of users have a PS4 controller, especially when most of those users already have a controller mapping program to fix the issue.

found the solution, don't know If you need for age later, turn off the steam overlay then the game work fine now for controller not always turn back to keyboard, found this solution on other game that act the same.
