Iron Rampart (shield) -> Godmode?

Just finished NG+ and it seems like this shield makes this game very easy.
100% damage reduction to everything is a bit too strong, i think.

the only downside is, that you need to be a bit patient.
{block, block, block, block, block, ... , damage to enemy, block, block, ...} :D

who need mobility, when nothing can damage you :P
The most damage done to me, was friendly fire (fireball) in coop. xD
Not sure why, with 100% fire damage reduction... Maybe a bug?

I think this shield is there just to help get past some frustrating boss fights like the witch, most bosses it really is not much more useful then a normal shield imo.

I got it through sheer luck when i was playing my dexterity build... I really like it but i don't wanna give up my thunder-bullet flintlock-shotgun :(

But the defense on that thing is scary. If one shield says "No, don't even try. This is a wall, not a shield." It is that one (Haven't seen other shields though EDIT: Just checked out other shields. This one is king but also the heaviest).
To be fair it is hard to get but still. Damn guurl. Look at dam stats. 90%+ on everything.

i think that shield is pretty OP especially when you upgrade it, it can basically go 100 everything if you get it high enough.

The shield makes you invincible when you upgrade it to lvl 4..
But in late game there are so many monsters that can grab you.. If you don't kill them fast enough they can be very annoying..
So.. equip no armor and praise the greatsowrd!

I'm doing that in my current playthrough so I can wear heavy armor (tainted) and still mid roll (50% and under), not quite there yet but soon, just need about 90 endurance lol, good thing you can go up to 120 though.

i have the tainted armor currently, but i dont really like it. Maybe i go back to Umbral-set. Then i can use the points for the level 5 armor elsewhere.
