Flintlock Pistol or Dragoon Espingole

I try to get 50 Dex. Does the Dragoon more damage with this or should I stay by the Flintlock Pistol?

The Dragoon Espingole is slightly better but there are even better pistols available if you get to the dome of the forgotten and get the hornet ashes you can get a nice holy dmg pistole that has S scaling which is almost equal to the top tier pistol available later on.
