Whats The Difference Between Wand And Staff?

Alright so i know that wands let you use a dagger or sword with it, and staffs let you parry and cast two spells but besides that is there any-other differences? because iv found wand to just work better for me.

If it works keep using it. The game isn't actually hard, so it's not like you need a hyper-meta build to win.

i know but I'm just wondering at what the difference is because i do enjoy the staff to. but to me i only use it if i am in coop and i know the magic scaling is different but i still don't see that much of a difference.

You pretty much covered it in the initial post. Apart from also having the two separate upgrade paths to use higher tiered versions, it just comes down to if you want a 1h or 2h version of a weapon that casts spells.

it's a lot easier to keep elemental overload balanced if you have two spells equipped.
