Yo so I really wanna try daggers type build but uh.. Is it even good? What kind of shields, or crossbows, or guns should I use? Should I use any at all?

if you use dagger, i'd advise learning how to long jump...that extra mobility helps a ton, even if it uses a lot of stamina. way i do it is bind the secondary binding for jump and roll to my L1 button so that it doesn't intrude on my regular uses of rolling and jumping individually...also removes having to time the button presses so precisely, i can just use one button instead that does it for me

dagger moveset has a nice mixup that lets you kick up into the air instead of standing in place doing light attacks all the time...i'd advise a gun too, you can combo gunshots with your attacks and it makes for a nice parry tool if you're ok with buying ammo. 2handing a dagger is a complete waste and does basically nothing for you

could make good damage if you go woodswraith for the poison, mountainsmith if you want mountain warhorns for that sweet stamina regen and lighting damage...any creed will work tbh, those are just two options that come to mind immediately

pessclaw's a pretty good option (dagger +poison cytoplasm gel at alchemist), good dex scaling and has innate poison damage whilst also having a good speed of attack. its low base damage can be deceiving, since it has a fast attack rate...and poison stacks

Certain dagger combos do enormous damage. Also it's the only weapon which can switch seamlessly from full slash to full blunt damage.

you can pick one up in the dome of the forgotten, if you rank up your devotion with certain creeds they will allow you to buy it from their npcs. i remember hearing that the devara blacksmith will sell one for like 1500 gold at level 1, but i don't play devara much so i can't confirm it myself

I bought one from Wood wraith blacksmith at 1 devotion, but the issue now is. I'm stuck on Kraekon Wyvren. I've upgraded my dagger to the max I can, and I got the poison dagger, I have a flintlock also upgraded to the max I can, a bow not upgraded to the max, but close. Blacksmith armor and crimson armor, the Impen Crest Ring and yet, I still cannot beat em.
guys i have a problem, sometimes the dagger its bug and i cant do de kick combo (the one that make fly the enemies xD) i know is light and heavy attack but sometimes the dagger stop doing the kick and replace with the spin attack (is the same damage but slower to me, and restrict my combos/ mobility. i hope anyone know how to fix it :,(
nevermind xD i was using heavy armor and thats it (too heavy for my character)

Wait what do you mean by blunt? Don't they only do slashing besides opal tusk? and even then it would only be 50% blunt

kickflips are crazy OP. They get your backstab damage bonus (unlike e.g. backstabs)

they're easily the best move in the dagger moveset, you can follow it up with a pistol shot too for even bigger damage
