I switched back to my tattered rags and that made my creature much better. Allowed me to focus on upgrading strength and willpower, and also have long and fast dodges/rolls.
Rolls will dodge most attacks if used properly. However some attacks that are directly coming from the ground (don’t know how to phrase that) cannot be dodge by rolls.
Attacks like his lighting thing that he does on the ground, any shockwave from a stomp, basically anything attacks that’s nailed on the floor.
And it's obvious this game hasn't aged well at all. Huge lag and control delays on my Razor. Ah well..
At best they're super easy, thus boring unless you play a "challenge" mode which intentionally locks you out of a huge chunk of the mechanics. Such as the fact if you aggressively unlock health potions, you rapidly trivialize S&S.
In this case S&S is merely being loyal to its DS inspiration, which is also best played naked a majority of the time.
With keyboard and mouse some times the game doesn't register where the mouse is and your character just attacks in the wrong direction.. Aging libs..
