Bloodborne hunter any good in this game???

I saw that there is a beggining class like the hunter from bloodborne. Is this class any good? Is it worth to invest in this build as well later on in the game?

Sup dude. Yea the whips are probably the weakest option among all weapon classes. So if you want the biggest challenge go for it. But, I don't like the moveset.. Like souls games tho, you can pick any starting class abd level up and choose weapons however you want.

My opinion:
Easy mode: heavy armor and great swords/great axe/great scissors
Medium challenge: light armor and spears/poleaxe/reapers (this is my preference)
Hard: daggers/whips/pistols/crossbow

Magic is hard early game, OP at the end.

Hey bruh, thanks for the answer. Guess I will go heavy/easy mode for now. Shame that the game does not have cloud save tho. I ended up losing my save, will have to start all over again...

Daggers are OP with poison though, it stacks so quickly if you use the right combo, and pistols are good, and pack quite a punch

I dont think heavy armor is easy mode at all. That fast roll is just too good.

The whips are mostly meh except there is a pretty early one, bladed i think? Its the best of the weapon class honestly. I played on ps4 using it and various guns and had a great time.

Are you talking about the steel centipede? It's a whip sword that uses sword attacks for light attacks and whip attacks for heavy attacks. You only need Whip 2 to use it.

I went with the hunter, but mostly use poleaxes and the whip for annoying flying enemies
