Bloody Writ

Hey guys!

I used a stained paige to expunge a sanctuary (I chose the 'Splendor' one), let me get killed by the NPC sitting there but I didn't get the 'Bloody Writ'. Just woke up at the last Sanctuary I rested at.

I looked at the Wiki and watched a youtube video where a guy does the same but wakes up at the beach where we first sat foot on the island (and got the 'Bloody Writ')

Do I have to chose a special Sanctuary? One of my own perhaps?

sounds like a bug. on the other hand i would never use this on the splendors as a melee lover. they are best creed for melee. super sayajin potion > all.

so could also a bug only related to thier sanctuary. it worked fine for me all the time so far but i never did it with the only sanctuary of splendor.

I did find the answer after watching several youtube videos though - in the comment section, no less.

You need to REST BEFORE YOU USE THE STAINED PAIGE! Otherwise you won't get the Writ.

It still might be a bug...

Did you make sure to rest at the sanctuary first?
You need to do that at least once.
It also can't be a sanctuary of your own creed.
