places to farm in early game?

i'll explain the situation first, i knew about this game some weeks ago, i first downloaded it for free on internet and completed it with a strength build as paladin, since a liked the game a lot, i decided to buy it and go for a dexterity build, im playing as a hunter and im at castle of storms and im having some problems with the kraekan wyrm, so im asking for some places to farm salt and level my char up to get that wyrm down and continue the game

in addition to that, im in woodswrath creed and i want the steel centipide as main weapon, i found out in the wiki that i need any whip and some items (that i already have) to get it, but the alchemist wont give me the option to build the weapon, do i need to have certain level of devotion or upgrade the initial whip a little before transmuting?

There are two farm areas in the beginning: a pumpkin field with saltless in the village of smiles and a path between a sanctuary of Devara's light and the castle of storms.

Castle of Storms itself is a pretty good farming spot too, especially if you want the best shield in the game

Castle of Storms is a good farming place. The big knights with shield give a decent amount of salt, but what I usually do is go right from the sanctuary, then up. There should be some monsters that throw flaming things at you, and a wizard. I kill all of them and then go back to the sanctuary to respawn them.

About the weapon:
Can be acquired by Transmuting any Whip with Court Sorceror's Ear, an Amber Idol and 3,500 Salt. There are no other requirements.
If you have everything you need, it should appear in the transmutation menu. If you have the whip you want to use as a material equipped, try unequipping it. I'm not sure if you can transmute equipped gear.

Also, if you have problems with the Wyrm, try using the blacksmith armor for extra fire resistance.

thanks, i did everything you said in the first part of the comment yesterday on my own and it worked pretty well, im now at disemboweld husk, and about the steel centipide, looks like i randomly could craft it, that plus the class 2 flintlock this build is starting to get real strong, thanks again for the comment anyway
