Three of the alts are guns.
One is two versions of the same weapon proficiency.
One is the last boss.
So there's only one I would consider a proper trap, as it's an alt to what's widely considered the best weapon in the game.
The last "Trinity" weapon - the Bardiche - can be good, but it requires a specific build: the character must be very wise and have high Dexterity (he/she can also be strong, but the Strength scaling for this weapon is bad).
If anyone likes using one-handed weapons with shields, there are Cephalopounder (https://saltandsanctuary.wiki.fextralife.com/Cephalopounder) for Strike damage and Tetruncheon (https://saltandsanctuary.wiki.fextralife.com/Tetruncheon) with extra blades. Cephalopounder has an extra poise feature and has helped me against the Nameless God.
Scharfrichter is a powerful fast weapon too.
