How the actual ♥♥♥♥ do I beat this boss. I have had little to no trouble with the rest of this game so far but this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss has stomped me like 20 times now. I get hit by one of her stupid balls and then get stunlocked and killed instantly. Im running a strength build with no shield just a huge sword. Do i have to equip a shield does it make a huge difference? Just wondering if anyone else had a lot of issues with Mal too.

well in normal it doesnt change anythiung, but as soon you get on «newgame +» shield are essencial,

sure i use a magic swordman build, its not the same as a str build,

i got to NG+, and since i was running with mas magic staff and a 2h Sword with no shield, igot stuck on some boss, ( they got owned in normal)

well i farmed some lvl and got able to use my greatsword with a shield, ( the lvl 5 one since some give lot of blocking power) if the boss a caster like Mal, just get the sield with the best Protection ( think its holy for that one)

also dont forget to lvl your creed, and try to get some creed weapon enchant, those are active twice as long, just get you 2 weapon set to 2h sword / 2h sword +shield, and get your shield out whn you need to block,

like ive said , i use a magic swordman build, and i mainly focussed on magic and endurance (lol the big shield are to heavy as f**k , i die often, but,......most of the time ,......ite the elemental disbalance ,.......(i forget to cast lighning spell)

if you reallu cant do it ,........there a few video on the net, i m pretty sure you can find one,

Shield's are not essential in the least. They do make some fights easier, but I've beaten EVERY boss and stage without them fine.

Youtube the Murdiella Mal fight. There are several no hit vids on there that will help you a lot. That's what I did when I got stuck. :)
