Help! I can't find the Castle of Storms
Someone please help. I kee[p going through the Forest, the Sunken Keep, etc. I just can't find the damn place.

Castle of Storms is the next place I'm supposed to go right? Last boss I beat was the Mad Alchemist.

EDIT: sorry, forgot to mention, I must have forgotten that I killed the jester, because I have the thing that lets you use the obelisks to walk on the ceilings.

Ok, you'll need to go into the Sunken Keep and kill either the Mad Jester or the Kraeken Cyclops to get the Vertigo Brand to gain access to the Castle of Storms just past the Bandit's Keep

I suggest you kil them both for the levels.
I already have the Veretigo Brand. SOrrry, I did kill the Jester. I forgot. You mean the brand that lets you use the obelisk, right? I have that

Ok. Go to the Bandits Pass just outside of the Festering Banquet and then follow it to an Obelisk and then BAM, Castle of Storms.
Thanks, Raziel. I'll try it now and get back to you.

Ok
I found it, thanks to you! And now I have to figure out how to defeat that giant freaking knight. He's killed me five times alreadfy. And every damn time, you have to travel back to the castle from that damn water goddess sanctuary. ARGH.

This game really is 2d Dark Souls. Just with a worse level layout.
Oh, Raziel. You knew what I was walking into! You probably were laughing as you typed out your instructions. :P

You don't have to kill him. You can just dodge him. Up a few levels and to the left is the sanctuary for the Castle. Just go up (two?) sets of stairs on the left. Go through a doorway on your left and up a long stairway. At the top will be a sorceror and after him another knight with two ember skulls. You might have to kill the sorceror and ember skulls but you can avoid the knights. Once you reach the second knight, just jump up onto the columns and up onto the next level and go left again. You'll be outside and the only door you'll see besides the one you came through is the sanctuary.

Honestly, I'd just avoid the knights unless you're dead set on fighting them. Depending on your build, they can be tricky but they do drop some good stuff. In particular, they drop an everything resistant shield that's awesome for heavy armor builds.

I eventually killed him with a series of firepots (and he didn't drop a darn thing!), found the sanctuary....only to find out that these knights are now regular enemies! And those damn skulls are hard to kill and sure kill you quick. And the sorceress? I dodged her. Couldn't figure out her game or how to beat her. Boy, just when you think this game is tough, it really gets a hell of a lot harder. And from what I understand, I'm not even halfway through yet.

Castle of Storms is kind of tough considering how early in the game it is. The enemies there are kind of tricky. When you're leveled up, they're not so bad and you can farm them a little bit to get what you need from them. Make sure you get the phoenix shield in the castle for the boss fight. It's in a chest somewhere. Trust me... It's one of the easiest ways to beat him.

I did get that shield! Haven't reached the boss yet. Still exploring all the ins and outs of the place. I'm at level 25 now, but I've concentrated on leveling things like strength and dex and endurance. Haven't done ANY magic, and now I'm regretting it. I'm gonna start putting stats into it now.

Also, I know you spend the purple pearls on the skill tree, but what about those silver pearls you occasionally find? I've found two now, and have no idea what to do with them.

Thanks so much for helping me out. Very kind of you!
Oh, Spookhouse, you dirty little liar! I haven't even gotten Kraeken Wyrm down to half health yet, and he has probably killed me ten times. The shield is great for the fire, but damn is he hard with everything else going on! My biggest problem is always having enough stamina. Toughest boss so far, even with the shield.

All joking aside, though, I appreciate the help you've given me.

Here's what you'll need to be wary off.

The fire isn't the problem. The Kraekan Wyrm is surprisingly fast and will follow up with attacks after getting to half health. If you're not playing a mage, I suggest you get the Impen Charm, the Black Widow and go to work on it.

When it's about to die, unless it's in the air, EVERY ATTACK it does will have a follow-up to you'll have to dodge twice.

Hahaha I don't think I have the impen charm or the black widow. I might be screwed! :P

By the way, what do silver pearls do? And what does willpower do, exactly?
