I'm a big fan of Rocksmith 2014 so I'm surprised at how bad Rocksmith+ is.

The fundamentals are all there but presented in a confusing way, and lacking any of the games or jamming features that made Rocksmith 2014 so remarkable.

I only purchased 1 month, and I'll use it for what it does since the money is spent, but I've never felt this bad about a game purchase before.

Oh, and the price is insane.

Outrageous! Where to begin, first off they the song selection if nothing short of horrific! Then to add insult to the whole affair, they want you to pay them a subscription??? WTH? Nope! You had a great concept here and you reall screwed it up. You could have offered a package of a few lessons and songs, then offered DLC for other artists and popular songs that could be learned. BUT subscription?? Geez when are these developers going to learn, WE HATE SUBSCRIPTIONS!!! Either sell us the product or don't. This is a hard pass! Don't waste your time or money! I DOWNLOADED IT AND QUICKLY DELETED IT AS A PURE MONEY PLAY WITH NO SUBSTANCE. Steer clear of this dog (whoof whoof!)

Huge fan of Rocksmith 2014 and have been hoping for a successor for a long time. RS+ has a much improved and improved modern interface, the song library is getting better all the time, and its fantastic that it works on ipad, especially for the piano. But the high priced subscription model is a turn off for me - even though I used to buy a lot of the DLC tracks I just dont like the pressure to try and use it during the life of my subscription. That and the game still seems quite buggy, menus dont load after a song, artwork is slow to come in. Not to mention the bloody ubisoft connect launcher that has to launch and update every time I start. RS2014 was so simple to plug and play. This feels like there is more in the way to just playing the guitar.

Also I miss the training guitarcade games which were great for practising techniques, scale racers was great for learning scales - this stuff is paramount for getting better at the instrument, shame its not there anymore.
