No real point in Rush skills?
So I just beat the game (playing on the vita) and honestly it went alot smoother once I just got rid of ALL Rush skills to give myself better attacks for the power and break slots. I understand rush builds EXE faster but plenty of break skills also include multiple hits and relying too heavily on the EXE gauge seems to force you to grind later on anyway.
Am I just utlizing rush skills incorrectly or something?

I use act fast chip instead of exe charge chip. which one is better?

EXE Charge. The Lv 5 chip is a ***** to find though. Lv 4 should be good enough
davidb11 9 febr. 2015 la 16:19
Weirdly enough, I think I have the Level 5, I just don't have anything to put it in yet.
Maybe not though.
lol. I've already put act fast lv.3 + ignore + credit up to all my front chars. all back chars have shorten wait passive lily abilities because i heard it stack with act fast lv.3.

Where is Act Fast? I've never seen a single pice of it.
Rush is next to pointless in the beginning, while Break is still roughly on par with Power or slightly above if you're trying to maximize SP usage.

Later on, Rush is the most important, and Break becomes an inferior version of Power, only useful as more slots for variety's sake.

when face some boss i like to use 1 to spam rush (IF / Vert) and use 1 to spam break (Compa)
when break go to 0 i use EXE drive.
PS. it's my play style.

That's one of the things I love abouyt this game, the varierty in killing the enemies. Break, Rush or power. In the end, just go with whatever fits the play style.
lol i farm my my exe off the minor mobs so when i get to something worthwhile, its just break break break, exe-exe exe

I do use some rush attacks to build up the EXE bar before bosses ;o
davidb11 10 febr. 2015 la 1:35
Yeah, that's what I do too. However, since I ran out of MB, I can't use the Super EXE bar until I get the storage space soon.
Hopefully before the end of Chapter 5.

Regardless, with that Super EXE, and a good charge up on Nep and Compa, I probably will have an easier time farming super bosses like the dude who gives you Action Joy.

I got that super weapon for Nep earlier, and with her break damage limit passive skill, her airstrike MK2 EXE does like 500K damage. :P

Early game I found rush attacks completely pointless. The cheap ones just don't fill up the EXE bar enough to make a difference. But from chapter 6 onwards with 5 hit rush attacks? Jeeze you can fill that bar in turn one in the first char, then have the second char AoE Exe drive and end the encounter right there. If you skip animations that ends every random encounter in 10 seconds. Even for bosses I haven't bothered reducing the guard guages first, if I go in with 4 filled bars I'll just brute force exe drives regardless of guard meter, 5 in a row is still easily enough.

My current problem with rush & EXE drive attacks is that usually only bosses (or some colosseum fights) last long enough for me to charge up all 4 bars of EXE gauge. If I'm trying to use rush attacks on normal enemies then they usually die either from first hit (before combo starts) or first rush attack.. although in some areas there are monsters which however have slightly better defense and few even can last whole combo before dying.

Because of this I find it easier to finish them off either with Plutia's or Rom's area SP attack or using power attacks on each individual monster if AoE can't reach all of them.

I can see how lowbie enemies would die quickly once you are high leveled but there are plenty of bosses and colleseum fights to use the EXE meter on. I wouldnt' expect to use them on normal mobs. Because the EXE bar remains between fights I don't see this as an issue.

During the story you use the lowbie mobs to raise the EXE meter before the boss fight.

During the colosseum if you are killing the mobs before you build up the EXE meter you really need to be fighting higher level challenges.

Also I can raise EXE meter easier than SP. So I save SP when possible.

Honestly all you need a level 999 noire with damage break, instakill any party.:noire::noire::noire::noire::noire::noire:
But seriously grinding 99 to 550 on polys took mye like 10 seconds a fight, 6x nep rush (using combo) vert exe noire exe all poly's dead, it got to a point where nep would kill the first 2 poltans with neprush and vert kill the other 2 with her EXE.
Just rememeber AOE EXE's are op as ♥♥♥♥ with damage break and ignore enemy traits.
