You guys using a ps3 controller?
try watching this, it worked for me.

though when he said that my pc would prompt me to restart after installing some stuff, mine never prompted, it's fine though lol

I had the same problem. The reason is because the game is trying to use the x and y axis, not the z. As far as I know there is no easy way to switch y and z axis from windows...

I went into controller settings and mapped R-> and <-R to positive and negative z axis(and then turned off inversion), unfortuantly I wasn't able to map R(up) and R(down), but you don't really need it.

remap it to Rx+, Rx-, Ry+, and Ry-.

I've just settled with positive/negative Z axis representing right and left on the right stick and mapped up and down to L2 and R2.

Dualshock 3 and 4 work perfectly fine without any additional software.
That Xinput wrapper in the video however is easiest way to make controller work wirelessly and xinput only titles.

Mine strangely didn't though, had to do some stuff just to get my dualshock 3 controller working.
is it because it also has something to do with SIXAXIS?

Any solution for this problem yet?

Yup. Still have that issue. I just remapped up and down to shoulder buttons for now.

Open up "Neptune.ini" file
(My Documents\My Games\Idea Factory International, Inc\Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1\)

change the last 4 inputs to:
Input16=2,10,0,0
Input17=2,11,0,0
Input18=2,4,0,0
Input19=2,5,0,0

That should bind your right stick properly.

Funny, that is exactly what I did. Its not an elegant solution, but I found it works better for me anyway. My only difference was I used the left/right axis for up/down and L2/R2 for left/right movement of the camera. Works better for me that way to move the camera and hunt for secret treasures at the same time.

Didn't work for me. I am using a Microsoft Xbox 360 controller.
a 360 controller should have native Xinput?
only your z axis doesnt work?
