Can't retrieve my items after death

Hello,
I die, I go back out, I find where I died and an E comes up to collect my stuff. I hit E and the tombstone goes away on my compass. Nothing in my inventory. Happens with one of my friends as well. Odd thing is, I read in many places that I should be getting my items back after a death. Am I missing something? Is there a way to put in a trouble ticket somewhere? Thanks for any help.

Goes back to your stash, not into your inv. You still have to extract after getting the rig though. You get your rig upgrades and weapons back.

I have seen this as an issue as well. Would also like a way to report this and other bugs as they are found.

OK so retrieve my gear, then extract back, and then it will be in my base inventory? If I don't extract and die, it goes away?

Far as I've understood it, it works like a dark souls body. When you die again, the new body takes its place. So if you pick things up and die, it is on the new body. If you don't and die, it's lost.

correct, disappears entirely if you die. you need to survive after picking it up.

Also: all the consumables, ammo, suit attachements (scanner, light, ...) as well as all the loot are gone. You "only" get your weapons, weapon upgrades and your rig including the rig upgrades back.

Only if it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worked. I died several times, and whenever i tried getting my stuff back, I never got my weapons back. Not even in my stash. I have lost many quest weapons. I hope cheats will appear soon so I will get my stuff back.

It does work. Do it right next time and remember you don't get everything back on a successful extract after looting your corpse.

Make a bug report your sure its not a 'you issue' instead of raging.

I still didn't lose any gear despite the fact I died several dozen of times so it does work. It works exactly like dark souls. Pick up your tombstone and you're free to die again and the gear you "saved" will be on your next tombstone. You have to extract to get your stuff back

So how I understand hwi getting back stuff works - I die, I get back on same map, press "E" near tombstone and get all stuff back. But I guess it doesn't. "Succesful extract" doesnt apply hear here. I ALWAYS loose my stuff.

Locate and grab gear
Successfully extract or lose gear; rinse repeat with new gear.

"successfully extract" means leave the map after looting your dead pile. Then the stuff is in your locker. You never 'see it' in the map before that. And you lose everything else, you only keep your core stuff.

But like i said. If you do all that and you do not see that gear in the locker then definately send them a bug report.

everybody is losing quest weapons too. best hopes is, "let them cook faster and polish the game" hoping for cheats in EA?.. hmmm okay.
