Share your custom translations
Well there is now support for custom translations, and I made a spanish translation of most of the game (only Kai's campaign is translated, way too much text), and there are also other things that can't be translated.

Special characters work fine, just make sure your text editor doesn't betray you, you need to save them as UTF8

You can use this threads to share your translations as well

go to (wherever)>steam>steamapps>common>100 Orange Juice>language and make a new folder in there
copy languagefiles.zip and paste it in the new folder, then unzip languagefiles.zip

open define and change LAUNCHER_LANGUAGE_NAME in launcher.txt from english to something else

then you can change all of the .txts in the define folder


I did that but the launcher language question won't change :/ (in game)

you need to change the LAUNCHER_LANGUAGE_NAME in launcher.txt in order for it to show up

it also probably won't show up if you have another custom language and you named it the same thing as that one
for clarification, don't change the LAUNCHER_LANGUAGE_NAME itself, only the word below it

oh not sure what the (in game) part means

Added sweet breaker's campagin and the new hyper cards, so this includes everything now for a nice 100% translated juice.
I switched to my dropbox folder so that every other minor update will not require a new link.

Might translate to Serbian at some point if I get how to get Cyrillic working. It currently shows me blank buttons, like there's no text at all.
Translation updated for the 1.16 patch.
Added some instructions (in italian) for the installation.

The link is the same as before (but i'll probably have to change it sometime in the future because dropbox wants to discontinue the Public folder)

Man, these frequent updates sure are keeping me busy.

EDIT: updated again later in the day for other changes that got implemented.

Because I'm incredibly OCD, I've been working on a clarified, consistent English language pack for cards and characters.

For consistency I used the following terms:
-Choose: randomly decided target
-Select: player decicided target
-Enemy: NPC encounter from red/boss panels
-Opponent: any unit in battle against the active player
-Player: a character roaming the field
-You: the active player
-Attack first: all the bullies on the left
-Attacked first: victims who didn't do nothing
-Gain: value added to existing stat modifiers
-Discard: displacing a card in such a way as to damage Store Manager
-Lose/Give/Steal/Gather/Shuffle/Replace/Cancel/Remove: no Boss was harmed in the handling of this card

For clarity I changed/added the following:
-Capitalized terms should now be the same in every instance.
-Similar card effects should now have similar wording.
-Small formatting details standardized, space permitting.
-At least one typo corrected.
-Other things that don't matter at all changed for no reason.
-Extend/Hyper Mode specify the user will fully heal.
-Certain cards specify KO'd targets are invalid.
-Shifu has Recovery Value 1.
-Waruda Sisters take their turn immediately on revive.
-President/Extension/PotG only waive the star cost, not other forms of payment (blood).
-Passionate Research I don't even know.
-Gift cards now have a "Held Effect" detailing their passive shenanigans.
