I see it isn't working smoothly yet, loading can take forever (main page alone loads for quite a long time) and some pages don't even load (like Events or Boards).

Yippie! :qp: The server seems to be slow on my end too, but it is probably due to the overwhelmed servers. Check if there is an improvement eventually.
Got a timeout error the first time I tried to connect via that link. Then I refreshed and got a Database error.
Website is showing error with thumbnails and icons

I really hope you guys can resolve these issues this year. This was part of the reason I avoided self-hosting in my time because of the unseen/unknown technical issues that now seem to plague you. Such a thing probably needs its own machine that runs 24/7 and a strong ethernet connection etc.
It just pains me because it took years for us to become reputable/trusted and I think slowly the reputation is merely becoming that the wiki is “constantly broken”. Fandom sucked, yes…but it worked at least.
I also fear that if technical problems take center stage, that the content will stagnate, given the focus is not on editing anymore. For instance, I cannot help even if I wanted to anymore because 9/10 the site isn’t working…
Best of luck to you, wiki team. I am not saying this to be mean, I’m saying such because I care about you guys and what we built. You gotta get this solved before the audience gives up and/or a wiki war forms because they can’t get the info they seek.
With all due respect, the OJ community as a whole has been deeply supportive of our efforts every step of the way. In addition, ever since going independent, the new wiki has ran perfectly fine for 7 months straight before we started running into technical issues due to the breach that occurred around the end of December, from which we still have yet to fully recover. As such, I would not describe us as being "plagued by issues", nor that this is a "degradation of the wiki's reputation".

I feel that you are overblowing the current situation by describing your personal worries about the wiki and presenting it as if it were an inevitable danger threatening us. Catastrophizing about the situation is not helpful, so I hope that you can believe that the wiki team has everything under control, even if things may look bad when visiting the website. A month of downtime (while obviously a problem) is simply a month of downtime, and not some sort of indicator that everything is falling apart.

My intent was not to scold, and I believe that I voiced my thoughts as plainly and respectfully as I could in hopes of reaching a mutual understanding. I apologize if my reply came off as combative, as my only wish was to convey my perspective on the wiki's situation through polite disagreement.

Still, I think it's good to aknowledge currently wiki isn't in a state where you can browse it as reliably as you could before the data breach, so maybe it could be worth looking for some extra help on that end.

It still seems to not be completely up to date, but it's good that it's back up and running.
I think it would be good to look into getting more help with the wiki for future stuff like this happening, but I do appreciate the work being done and also I know doing anything involving computers is Hell. godspeed.

i wish the wiki made it better to view things. It was annoying to see the boss dice and figure out the rewards you get for bosses on different difficulties like hyper and normal and if theres a achievement you can get for a specific thing like running qp,seagul, chicken, and the little devil spawn character
