Is there a way to unlock content without playing single-player?
Obviously not talking about DLC characters but the game gets dull very fast playing multiplayer without unlocks (which I think are unlocked by playing single player campaign?)

Does anyone have a 100% unlocked save file or something because we have no intention to ever play the single player?

This is a fun little game but I'm afraid we won't clock many hours if we only have like three characters to choose from.

Three ? I think in the beginning there is at least 4.
In fact, much of the "unlockable" is the multiplayer only.

You need to fight some characters or gain some episodes of the story to a new character appears in the store, not to mention that they are a little expensive to start.

In multiplayer you can gain new color hair and clothes.
It depends on what you're after. :100oj:

The recolors are a nice touch, but I'm more interested in the extra characters and more maps/cards so we don't end up playing the same stuff over and over again.

So more variety in general.

Edit: So I assume theres no way to "cheat" all the unlocks? It's no biggie really, we'll just get bored faster is all. (the games already started feeling repetitive after ~7 hours and we barely unlocked anything, just a few maps and cards)

I am pretty sure that the characters and maps will only be released in the store when you play the story mode of the chosen character. Not finish it. Some really only appear when you finish.

And nor is there a rule in general, the character that appeared to me when I finished the episode 2 of a character in question may be different from yours, or not be in this episode.

This game is really a game of luck.

But some characters / maps have a level restriction, and only in multiplayer you can level up.

Edit: The multiplayer will always be fun, so check it.

I'm sure when you find a favorite character among many that you have not actually played, you will be more anxious.

There are 12 main characters.

You start with 1 for single-player, but have access to the 4 main main characters for multiplayer.

I believe you can unlock 10 of the other 12 by playing through any campaign. That means all but one character (who is missing varies with the campaign), and you get Poppo for winning the whole campaign, and Tomomo for beating the last Extra Scenario.

Playable enemy and playable balanced boss units are available only via multiplayer.

Syura, Nanako, Saki, and Kyousuke are only available to people who have the DLC packs containing them.

QP (Dangerous) is only available to people who have the game QP Shooting - Dangerous!!.

------

Regardless of your characters, and regardless of whether you are playing single player or multiplayer, you get stars for completing matches. (Even if you lose; you still get some stars.)

You can use these stars to buy cards in the in-game store.

Set the game to Fastest (speed 4) and hold down Shift and Ctrl to speed through the campaign. Even if you lose, some characters will eventually pop up in the shop.

Ok I guess I'll try that. Does difficulty matter at all in unlocking characters?

Nope. The only thing it affects is your story-based achievements.

So basically I could just play on casual difficulty and hope I unlock things faster?

You can also just right click, which'll skip through the text and send you straight to picking your deck.
