How to Win?
Alright Guys so I just bought this game due to the summer steam sale because it looks fun and Im new playing this and its fun so far but im a little confused about some stuff. My main question for this game is how exactly do you win? I tried to read the user's guide to figure it out but in the user's guide it says, "To attain victory, make full use of your unit and the cards you like." which really isnt that descriptive.... Do you focus on collecting stars or maby you focus on winning battles? If someone could enlighten me on this that would be nice, thank you.

You win by achieving "normas". Basically, having certain conditions fulfilled, and then stepping on a home panel (any of the panels with a signpost on them).

Your first norma is always to get ten stars. Once you attain it, you can choose whether to get 30 stars or 2 wins as your next norma. Then you choose between 70 stars or 5 wins. Then you choose between 120 stars or 9 wins. Then you choose between 200 stars or 14 wins. First player to achieve that last norma level wins the game. Norma level is denoted by the number of big stars next to a player's portrait. If they've got five stars, they're close to winning!

You can only achieve one norma at a time. Even if you have 120 stars but haven't fulfilled the 30-star norma, stepping on a home panel will get you the 30-star norma.

You can get stars from the start of every turn, from bonus panels, and from winning battles. You can lose them by losing battles and at drop panels, and by spending stars to use cards. Card effects may also affect your stars. Basically, stars are generally easier to get, but less reliable.

You can get wins from defeating opponents in dice battles. Regular enemies (on encounter panels) give one win, rival players give two wins, and bosses give three wins. Note that damage carries over and stays with enemies -- you might not win now but maybe the next time you fight them -- or maybe someone could killsteal from you. However, once you get wins, they stay with you for the whole game and you can't lose them.

You can only stop on opponents' home panels if you roll exactly to stop on them, or if anyone else is there and you choose to stop and challenge them. You can always choose to stop on your own home panel even if you over-roll it. (Hint: if you stop on your home panel, someone else who's threatening a win might choose to stop to challenge you, not beat you, but win the game anyway!)
