Sherry discussion topic
Whoa did you see they just released new characters.
Anyways Sherry sticks out as being odd.

Sherry (Flying Red Barrel):
HP: 5
Attack: +1
Defense: +1
Evasion: +1
(Special) Enemy always goes first. If the enemy is Sherry, ignore this effect.

Hyper (EVENT): Whimsical Windmill
Fight all other players in order. The enemy goes first. During battle, gain Evasion +1.

Not sure how to feel about this. She seems machoistic.

She's way too powerful D:
Looked a little op at first but after seeing her get destroyed by the first Seagull she encountered I have some doubts. Then again, seagulls are at the top of the food chain. There's no question about that.
That evasion boost during her hyper does a lot more than it seems; it gives her Suguri levels of evasion during the ensuing battle chain. That said, she is _NOT_ killing any bosses anytime soon, since they too get initiative, and as we all know, the Manager is a cheating jerk.

Hmm...definitely scary...hyper seems strong if you have one opponent down and two good battle cards. I can't say fighting all three is a great idea, as you're pretty much giving the last person everyone's stars with the way this goes.

Though I still forsee a nerf later on. Probably to her attack. Making her defense lower would just make her too vulnerable with her ability. Hyper would probably be needing a boost if they do that though, giving her back her +1 attack.

Still, she's a great pick for a character to have OP stats XD;

Given that Seagulls love their BS 7 rolls, especially when you just magically roll 1 yourself, I can't say that's a good way to compare. Still, it's interesting to think she has a technical disadvantage on battle panels that others usually don't care too much about. It's definitely there I believe she'll truly be balancing out.

I thought so too at first, but it seems to have high end-game potential. Just went from <50 stars to 200+ by sniping a Fernet at 1 HP. It's definitely no Hyper Mode, but it definitely isn't Magical Massacre either.

Sherry can kill Bosses with Shield Counter. Neat.

Does that make her "The defender" though? I thought it was about who was assaulting who, not who is attacking first or last.

Nope, is who attacks second who can play that card. Same for Tactical Retreat. Already tested.

I like the way Sherry plays. She excels in short skirmishes where her high stats give her a significant advantage, but once she's worn down a bit, the fact that she always goes last really comes back to bite her. In particular, she has a really hard time sniping 1 HP bosses.

In other words, she's pretty resilient, but the fact that she can't avoid damage by killing things before they counterattack prevents her from being overpowered and encourages a different form of passive play. Neat.
Sherry can pretty hilariously bully the bully-type characters by running at them and popping a Shield Counter since she always goes second.
