Coming soon are items that will unlock..in an hour or so? I have no idea honestly, all I know is that they're unlocked but not available yet (What's up with that anyway?).
More items will be added as you progress through the campaign and as you play.
Perhaps others can confirm? As two people gave two different answers.
Thanks :)
a) The shop items have level requirements
b) Those levels can only be earned by playing multiplayer
c) When you buy an item in the shop that has a level requirement, it can only affect multiplayer
Is that right, or am I still confused?
a) Some shop items have level requirement
b) Yes, levels can only be gained in multiplayer.
c) Items bought with level requirement effect everything, just like everything else, but they are not needed for anything. Doing 100% single player would give you all the unlocks you need, as well as an edge up whenever you do go to multiplayer. The things unlocked from multiplayer consist of discounts and characters that are weaker than the ones unlocked from campaign.
The original game has 12 playable characters, all the currently existing maps, non-playable enemy trophy cards, and non-playable boss trophy cards. It has no playable enemies or bosses, and no color packs.
All of these features are fully accessible by playing the single-player campaigns, accumulating stars, and buying them from the shop, except the maps. The maps are just gotten by clearing certain campaign scenarios, I think.
This semi-remake adds a multiplayer level system, playable enemies, playable bosses, and color packs. It also adds an additional means of unlocking the maps -- by buying them in the store. Playable enemies, playable bosses, some color packs, and store-purchase maps all have a level requirement, I think. You can only gain levels by playing more multiplayer.
So by playing only single-player, the only things you're really missing out on are the playable enemies and playable bosses, and some color packs. (All color packs are entirely cosmetic and do not affect gameplay.)
