My guess as to why they added it back was so that they could lower her recovery to 4.
This patch changed 3 users with 4HP-Kae, Miusaki, and Saki. I'm going to assume they did that partly because of Nicos introduction, as another 4HP character.
I think it's a good change because the game needed more +2 ATK bullies.
Everything was ok like it was before why that change. :c
it was a pretty cool change imo, forget about collecting stars with her and just bash players
So how is bullying a +1/-1/+1 character any "easier" than bullying a 0/0/+1 character? If anything, it's riskier because she can counterattack with a 7 if she survives (or with a 8 if she uses Rainbow-colored circle). So imo the change doesn't make a huge difference when you're on defense. Yes, your def is worse, but if you survive you'll hit back harder. And if you don't survive, you'll get back up easier with that 4 REC and can start bullying the one who KOed you.
Also, when you're on offense, the -1 DEF is fantastic because your aim as Kae should be to kill in one hit anyway, and now it's easier than ever.
So the changes synergize with Kae's playstyle very well. She's better than before.
This is 100% orange juice, rng is always against you
RNG screws everyone equally so that's not an argument. One bad def roll always messes you up, doesn't matter if you have 0 def or -1.
But still, if you're so against the Kae change, you can just pick someone else I guess. Most people (including myself) seem to like the change, though.
That -1 hurt on defense, with 4 hp
Simple, the attacker goes first. If Tomomo knocks out Kae then it doesn't matter if her ATK is 0, 1, or 20. In Kae's case the extra +1/-1 on attacks will probably do more good on offense than harm on defense, but we'll see.
Kae is better than Sora unless hypers are involved.
Without card support she was either 0/0/1 or 1/-1/1 against Sora's 1/0/1.
I specified hyper. In my experience Sora is on the bad side without hypers specifically, while Kae can make do with cheap battle cards that lots of other characters will include in their decks.
