Can I still play with friends if I'm VAC banned?
I honestly don't know how I got VAC banned and I know it's impossible to reverse, but is it still possible for me to play with friends?

Having cheat engine open while playing Orange Juice can be the reason of why you're VAC banned. But no, you can't.

Ah, thats unfortunate. I do admit that I have Cheat Engine installed, but I don't remember opening it while playing. Thanks for the help anyways. I guess I'll just have to make a new Steam account to play with friends.

You should say almost impossible. You can appeal your vac ban.

I could try to, but should I contact Steam support or the game developers for help? I heard that Steam support doesn't really do anything, so I'm not really sure where to start.

I don't know too.
Try to contact both but since vac is from valve you should contact steam.
Steam support have a long wait time for responses.
If they send you a automatic answer reply again.

You'll connect to insecure servers and play with others who are also banned. Your friends may be able to use the -insecure flag to launch the game without VAC and play with you but I haven't really tried it.

I tried the -insecure flag, and I was able to see my friend's lobby when he created it, but it wouldn't let me join. I wasn't able to create a lobby either. Shouldn't it at least allow me to play with other VAC banned people?

usually the way some games are is, there is vac enabled servers, and regular servers.
im not specificlly sure what 100% orangejuice runs on, as usually there is server lists which you can pick from.

which if the game is only vac servers dunno if its possible, since vac servers keep those who are vacbanned from being able to access them.

so your friend if possible would have to find a way to play on servers which are not vac enabled... if thats even possible with this game x.x

EVERYONE will need to be using the -insecure tag in order to completely bypass VAC.

Yes, I am well aware of that and already tried it with friends. It wouldn't let me join their game or create a game, even if I did see their game created with the -insecure tag.

You can't play with insecure tag, oj lobby doesn't provide insecure feature, just be careful next time and not to open any kind of cheat tools which can interface with game exe and dll lib.
