Is it possible to play 100% OJ on a phone?
Title.

This would definitely be interesting though, given the game definitely has a touch-screen friendly interface (large buttons, very visible HUD, almost exclusively mouse-only.)

The only issues I could see happening is either they'd have to make a lite version, or given the nature of it being on steam with DLC, they'd need a way to link the 2.

Yeah I've never seen a mobile game that uses Steam cloud or somehow connects to it. Would be fantastic if it happens though.

The thing is, phone games tend to be like 1-3 minute sessions. This is because when people commute and want to play with their phone, you don't want to risk them losing a lot of progress.

OJ games take 20-30 minutes. Ah, yes. How excellent would it be to have people drop out of lobbies constantly.

It could work for singleplayer, but singleplayer :100percent: is... well. Yeah.

Even though the GUI feels like a good thing for Touchscreen, the game actually doesn't work on touchscreens, I tried on mine and the click doesn't click, it works fine for other games or other things but for OJ it's just impossible to click for some reason.

I'm talking about if it were implemented to a touchscreen it woudl port over very nicely (no need to change the UI aside from controls). Large buttons and simple UI are a phone-game's best friend.

Well, sure, but there are phone games that can be made for longer sessions.

A quick example is I'm going on a trip here soon, and while I'm going to be busy for the majority of it when I get home at my hotel for the night I wouldn't mind playing some OJ with anybody who's online, however I don't plan to bring my laptop.

I never intended to do multiplayer but play single player extreme. (Because as long as I see a Free Play option I'm gonna get tempted)

having an expensive, fragile, and throwable device in your hand while playing oj will be hard on your wallet in the long run

I'll be frank, if 100% OJ Mobile Edition doesn't let you play in landscape, there's no way I'd buy it.
