The origin of Marie Poppo is uncertain, there a lot of theories: Satan, mass produced beings created by Tomomo's loneliness, the creation from people desires, an original character introduced in this game and the antagonist of sorts you'll be facing throughout most of the Singleplayer campaigns. Nobody knows her true origin...

Is she an alien? A time traveler? A deity? A supernatural girl born from nuclear experiments? We probably won't know. What we do know, however, she is here to steal things. That gives us another question: Why she steals things? Is she just messing around? Or does she have a mission to accomplish? Marie Poppo is and will be a complete enigma, until somebody passionately researchs in depth about her.
