suguhime costume dlc isn't as good but you can still get it if you like how they look
The mixed pack and acceleration packs give you extra cards, so you might want to pick up those, so you have more options.
As for the character DLCs I'd say either play a few games and see if you see any you like, then get those.
Another option is to buy all the DLCs, but that's not required to enjoy the game
How about the campaign? all of those have an own campaign?
Are the mixed pack and acceleration pack have a same card?
Lastly, in-game we can buy a card set with star, what it for? can't we get a DLC card from it?
I enjoyed the game and thanks for the information, maybe i'll play the multiplayer often.
But the DLC packs are pretty cheap and get on sale often, not to mention that 100%OJ is a great game, worth many hours of fun (specially in online matches), so I do recommend buying all DLC (except sugu/hime costume dlc) if you can.
However, considering that most of the DLC characters are more complex than the vanilla ones and bring many completely new playstyles to the table, you may find buying all of them at once overwhelming, especially if you haven't gotten used to the in-game mechanics and deck building yet.
Personally, I'd recommend to first get used to the vanilla cast (which consists of 12 characters, not counting the playable versions of the NPCs and bosses) and how they differ from each other before buying the character DLCs.
Still totally worth it, just for the extra characters.
Just wait for a sale and pick up all the DLC you can carry. They cost about a buck apiece when on sale.
