WildAssault Technical Support FAQ [updated 6-June-2024]
Hello everyone, greetings from Combat Cat Studio! If you're experiencing any issues with the game demo, please check below for a solution. We expect to update this later days.

Note:How to Report Bugs While Playing


If you run into a bug while playing, please consider pressing F10 to report it to us through Discord [discord.gg]. Bug reports help us quickly track and solve issues with the game, improving the experience in Early Access for everyone. Thank you for your help!

Note:Version Errors


If you encounter a version error (-1):
Exit the game and re-enter.
Exit Steam and re-enter.
Verify game file integrity.
add game folder to your anti-virus software whitelist.

Note:Fixing DX12 Errors


Check if your graphics card supports DX12. Intel integrated graphics, Nvidia 9 series, and AMD RX400 series and earlier do not support DX12.
Note: The game only supports DX12.

Update your graphics card drivers. For Nvidia, choose clean installation.
Update your operating system to Windows 10/11. Older versions like Windows 10 1909 and earlier are not supported.
If group policies are blocking updates, follow these steps:
Press Win + R, type "gpedit.msc" and press Enter.
Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update.
Set all configured options to "Not Configured."
Finally, update Windows.

Note:EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) Error Solutions


Manually download EAC:
Right-click the game in Steam, select Properties.
Browse installed files, open the EAC folder.
Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe as administrator, uninstall.
Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe again, download EAC.
Verify game file integrity in Steam.

Repair EAC: Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe, click Repair Service.
Install EAC via PowerShell: Run PowerShell, execute the command provided.
Update Windows and ensure all system files are updated.
Verify EAC network connections.
Make sure to follow each step carefully to resolve the issues. If one method doesn't work, proceed to the next until the problem is fixed.

If none of the above solutions work, the issue might be related to your firewall or antivirus software. Try temporarily disabling these programs or add game folder to the whitelist and repeat the previous steps to see if it resolves the issue. If you still don't succeed, we strongly recommend reinstalling your system to mitigate any potential operating system or hardware errors.
