Will this have controller support in future?

There probably wont be controller support at this point for a number of reasons. The main problem in the FPS/TPS genre right now is the number of hardware devices that inject cheats and represent themselves as a controller to avoid detection. Due to this more and more scrutiny and outright refusal to incorporate controllers is slowly becoming standardized in the industry. So if you like using controllers on games picking up a console is becoming the standard. This is mainly because anticheat development cant keep pace with cheat development and no singular company wants to be the one to invest millions to counter this problem so its easier to just refuse to support gamepads/controllers on PC games. Add to this the fact that publishers like Steam are now going to be integrating directly into the next generation of consoles. Which in turn also allows companies to make significantly more money by enforcing a no controller policy on all future upcoming games. So it both makes them money, reduces how much they have to spend to combat it and helps reduce the number of them. Sucks don't it that we PC players have to lose out on controllers because of cheating scumbags ?

While I cannot play with a mouse and keyboard. The choice of console game are limited. I hope Steam can come up with something. (previously a console owner switched to PC)
