You could at least buy the game before you do your "math".
Oh, you wanted Jester points, is that it? I understand now.. Here, peasant, have some fake internet points.
I could give a ♥♥♥♥ about steam points boyo, don't you see i awarded you some?
Literal dumb ass bro lol.
"We". Hasn't paid $13 to support it.
You don't HAVE to pay for any of the battle pass or DLC. it's purely cosmetic. All the weapons there are on it can be earned by playing.
Imagine a furry in this day and age that doesn't have $13. SMH
It's not about the money bro, its this company thinking they're EA or Ubisoft or someshit by dropping a battle pass, if that ♥♥♥♥ wasnt there, day 1. i wouldn't mind paying what is basically two coffee drinks, its the fact a new company came out swinging with greedy "AAA" practices.
i would have been happy paying even 30 bucks if it didnt have this battle pass bs, i dont care if it's "free" the fact they have "skips" is just taking advantage of practices already established and trying to milk that pot before they've even built up a fan-base.
keep trying.
No one wanted loot boxes so battle passes are what we have to live with now. And there's nothing in the pass you NEED to pay for. No one has a gun to your head demanding you pay more.
They are entirely optional .
Play a class, you unlock guns and attachments. it's the same as any shooter.
Honestly the whole "Keep trying" is cringe as well. Just have a discussion like a normal person and not some brain rot zoomer.
Isn't that just normal nowadays? Even smaller devs use things like battle passes from what I've seen. If you're going to run a live service game of any sort you have to make a continuous profit somehow.
If it's not a battlepass, it's something like optional cosmetics. Deep rock galactic has an upfront cost, a free battlepass and payed cosmetic dlc's they release on and off.
Gunfire Reborn is pretty populer and has an upfront cost, payed content and character unlock dlc's, AND a payed battlepass. They have a lot of reviews, overwelminlgy positive, and seemed to sell very well.
I can understand the arguments for making the game ftp. Theres an argument to be made about that attracting more players. But complaining about ways to keep a live service game monitized and running nowadays is pretty crazy. That's a battle long, long sense lost at this point.
I get it. I'm in my mid 30's. I remember the one and done release days, with the most extra monitization being expansion packs. But times have changed. Servers are more expensive, running studios is more expensive. Studios big and small have set the standerd and a small fresh dev like Combat Cat isn't going to be the one to suddenly change that.
Heck, in this case it doesn't even give advantages. It's all just cosmetics on the payed battlepass version.
The weekly tasks sticking around when the next week rolls over even makes it so the game respects my time if I can't play much during a given week.
I feel like the paid purchase of the game in EA is a fair asking price for what's currently available. Hopefully the game's popularity continues to grow via word of mouth and people drawing friends into the game.
I also feel like things will pick up some when it gets further into EA and there are more maps and game modes to access.
Yeah.. you aren't really reading what i post, so im just gonna ignore you.
If you honestly think i think AAA is 13 bucks, then there's something else going on with ya.
Like it or not this is pretty much standard company wide for live service games. Servers cost money. You think initial game cost covers everything?
Skip a burger and fries and buy the game instead of complaining and then getting personal with people that don't agree with you.
All the initial monetisation and exp cap problems were sorted and if you paid attention to them posting and the community posts , well you would see it's still early days. HENCE early access.
You literally don't have to interact with any of the paid stuff. Just play the game, is any cosmetic stopping you from having fun? If so you're the one with something else going on my dude.
Also saying you're ignoring someone is pretty cringe :P
There is such a caste of people who are always dissatisfied with something.
As they say - only the grave can straighten a hunchback
You didn't know of the bot-crisis do you? Keep trying to pile ♥♥♥♥ on guys, it isn't working. <3
I can like something and still give it a negative review over corporate laziness.
if you don't know why i left that review then you yourself are just cattle waiting to consume next product.
Please feel free to spend your money as you wish~ buy all the battlepasses and everything the dev is selling, show YOUR support as you see fit.
I say you'll mature as you grow older but that in itself invites trolling by making fun of people's age for some reason?
Be Gamers guys, not blind sheep.
Yall love making fun of people IRL when this was a topic about a game, lmao, ima let ya be humble. <3
This is who these kinda "gamers" are, willing to insult random people online when it was a valid discussion, yall wanna be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, go right ahead.
