username censorship is kinda crazy

minor inconvenience, but the censorship is even worse than the last beta test. my usual username is Busty Braixen. the word "busty" is censored and half braixen is censored because it has the word "bra" in it. if it werent for the fact that Aikihime exists i'd understand. she is a "busty" fox girl wearing a sports "bra".

now the word "vixen" is censored too. again, aikihime exists, so what gives?

because it has the word "kill" in it.. imagine not being allowed to say the word "kill" in a first person shooter where all you do is kill ppl

i can only assume it's because of an *old* definition of the word that generally refers to an attractive woman. Nobody under the age of 80 would ever use normally.

even then, it's considered a pretty classy way of referring to someone, and there has yet to be a person born with any semblance of sense or sanity that would ever even conceive of "vixen" as being a slur or innuendo

Chinese levels of censorship pretty much at this point. So alot of words tend to get censored same with combination of words too.

Judging by the response here, it's safe to say that the devs (that is Chinese) just grabbed the banned words from a list on the internet, but just plopped it into the chat system without looking more into it. So there's a lot of the "Scunthorpe problem" and archaic or questionably offensive words causing false positive there.
