anyone else? LoadLibrary failed with error 87: the parameter is incorrect. HELP

so support has been some what helpfull. its been 4 days since I bought this game and havent even see the first logo. I just get loading from steam and bam error.

LoadLibrary failed with error 87:the parameter is incorrect.

Anyone have a clue how to fix this? Its not my antivirus I checked and made sure it doesnt interfer with the game or steam. All my other steam games work perfectly fine. Just this.

as a big Sid Meier's serries fan, Id really love to play this game.

redownload it 3 times allready with a limited amount of internet access. Still used up about 2 gigs of data just to tripple check. help someone has to know, right?

ive also checked integrety of files and came back 100% all 3 times i reinstalled it.

best part is that it says Ive played for 24 minutes. so everytime I try to start the game it counts one minute. lmmfao

trying to redownload it for the 4th time.

Did you download the file in the Local files ? Go to _CommonRedist in the Local files

_Common Redist > OpenAL > 2.0.7.0 > oalinst.exe

This fixed my issue with the Game launching.

yeah...I saw that in the main thread (which is so huge now it is very hard to search :( and I tried that multiple times as well...it goes through so quickly I don't believe it installed anything...am guessing I might have already had it installed, or maybe it just installs super fast.

I requested a refund...but if anyone gets a solid fix on this problem, and I can buy it again at $5, I might come back to this

yes its in my local files when I go tot steam library and click properties, local files and it opens the game files its in there just as you listed. Ive tried installing it several times and it says installed. basicly instantly and game still doesnt start. I downloaded more games since, and they all work fine. So its just this game. My pc is pretty awsome on most games. So once again its just this game. Would really love to play it. If it wasnt so expensive for the ipad Id download it, but after this dissapointment there is no way i am paying 15 dollars for that game.

Hi! I do not own this game, but I am having the same problem on another. Thus, I tried to look at the local files on the game that's not working properly and did not found the OpenAL folder. How can it be acquired. I thank you all in advance, and apologise any inconvenience on my part.
