Resolution / fullscreen problem
Can you help me, guys? I've resolution set to 1920x1080 by default, but when I try to change it to 1600x900 the screen goes window. Simply can't run it fullscreen.

It's 1920x1080. Should I try to lower it?

WOOT! I found a fix!

Open SOMA, then while it is open, open task manager. Right-click on SOMA and select properties, then click the compatibility tab.

There should be an unmarked check box that says "Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings". Check that box, then restart your game.

Everything should be fixed! You can now lower your resolution without it going into a window!

Thanks, this worked, although you don't have to runt he game first. you can just go to the install folder, find the soma.exe and turn it off in the settings.

Thnxs man!!

Edit: doesnt fix my other problem. Every icon is bigger when Soma is running in background. It is still 1920x1080 but everything looks not the same, it looks like 1680x1050 for example. When closing Soma W10 returns back to normal.

Also the game itself looks like broken, i am missing pieces of the screen at the right and top side. The face of the girl from startmenu is show the only left part of her face. At 3840x2160 i see her complete face but W10 still see ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. When changing back to 1920x1080 it get worse, everything is way to big?

Pressing autodetect doesnt do anything. I have 1060GTX and 16GB RAM and 6700K.

Have a fix: My W10 desktop is set to 125% for bigger icons and letters, it looks like the game is stretched because of that. So search for the launch game soma.exe (\Steam\steamapps\common\SOMA) and choose options, (tab) compatibily, (button) change settings for all users, (button) change high dpi settings, ignore high dpi settings > let application choose. (and not system).

(I have translate my Dutch W10 to English, probally there is another word or sentence in your English W10.)
