Attempting to Record
Hey, I'm a really small youtube channel trying to grow, and I've attempted to record this game using OBS. I have a Radeon R9 270, and when I record, the video has major artifacting, and major screen tearing. Does anyone else have these problems, or is it just me? The game runs buttery smooth at 60 FPS, it's just the video. I've also tested it on other games, and it seems to be just this one. Any help? I really would like to record my blind playthrough, but if I can't, I guess I'll just go ahead and enjoy the game myself.

up the bit rate and the cpu encoding speed.

Anyways with a game like this I wouldnt bother. By Morning every top youtuber will have a video and yours will be buried and never seen. The best thing to do is find games the big channels havent done yet.

For example, I found Layers of Fear about 3 weeks before anyone else. However various issues meant i couldnt do a video. By the time I bought a new mic and everythinf else was sorted there was 50 milllion layers of fear videos. When I started there was ZERO.

Unless you can get a decent jump on the big guys...find something they havent covered because their stuff will always show up in the searrch and yours wont sadly

By the way if you have win 10 the built in game dvr works really well and has zero performance hit and excellent video quality. OBS is popular because its free not because its the best. Its actually pretty badly designed from a UI perspective.

Its probably your recording settings. This game is OpenGL so might need to adjust your settings or find a different recorder that doesn't have an issue recording OGL API games.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I appreciate it, and I'll take the advice I was given to heart.
