Can my laptop run SOMA? Help pls.

I bought a new laptop last year and I wonder that I am able to run SOMA. You know it is on sale right now :) At least I want to be able to play medium settings.

My laptop's features:
Brand: ASUS
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 -5500 CPU @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), -2.40GHz
RAM: 12 GB
DirectX: Version 11
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 840M
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit

You can sure run it on medium settings but at 720p.

The textures aren't that intense, so I reckon you'd be able to play at medium settings with 30fps minimum =)
Either way, get the game as it will be playable even if you do have to lower the settings more than you want. But I'm betting medium settings will be fine =)
