Won't let me swipe omni tool

I'm at the entrance to Tau; after following all of the blue lights. The game won't let me progress, for some dumb reason or another.

Don't remember that well anymore, is there power routed to the terminal? Are there no pull/turn-switches? Show us a screenshot.

The omnitool only works once you're inside the main pressure door. There's just a button on the outside of Tau to open that big door.

Thanks for the replies;

I've traced the issue back to a glitch I had encountered while exiting the elevator, so I'm just going to restart from there.

And unfortunately, no, I don't have a clear idea as to what the issue was, I just remmber the omnitool glitching out pretty bad there. I think the save files save EVERYTHING in the game's script, not just location/progress, so it must have saved whatever fault I had found.

So how do I avoid this bug? because I played the descent part three times and my omnitool always got stuck on screen :-/ I just can't enter the tau station no matter what I try (gel station, getting hit by enemies etc)

Should have been fixed in the last patch not long ago. I presume you too have the gog version, as the game isn't on your steam account. So go to gog.com, log in, download the latest update, install it, and you're all set.
