I got through Alien: Isolation.. i HOPE I can get through this as well
Let me know how you like it
I tried the first Penumbra and I remember what you are talking about. That room got me stuck for even longer, haha. I have to give that game another shot. Something about it turned me off from what I can remember.
I finished it recently and it was very enjoyable. Only a few hours long, too. I had attempted it a few times before, and it turned out I had made it more than halfway everytime, I usually just got too spooked. Same reason why I can't finish Amesia despite having over 30 hours across multiple plays. Now I have to summon the strength to continue Blak Plague. Never got very far in that one, just too intense.
I'll end up going back to it eventually. I know it's good, just gotta give it another more serious shot is all. Dude, Amnesia is so worth it. I ran into the same problem my first playthrough. Afterwards, I started over (like a year later) and managed to finish it. I felt accomplished to say the least. I think simply completing that game is an achievement. Oh, and I did Justine as well.
