VR Soma
Will there ever be a VR version of this game?, Don't get me wrong I'm not sure I actually want it because it was s h i t scary enough on a panel but I think it would lend itself beautifully in VR.

Frictional is very small so I wouldn't count on it.

hopefully all fractional games add support to VR, all of them will be the best way to play all fractional games

if at the very least it would be a cool way looking a the game in a new way espcailly in the water segments of the game.

Sounds like someone is a little bitter they are missing out on the amazing VR that many of us are (when you can afford all the right hardware to support it).

There is already great VR available right now, and when more games support it well VR will get even better. SOMA would be awesome in VR.

It sounds like you are more interested in probably not trying VR or giving it a chance though...

I really hope so, surprisingly there is a large lack of quality horror games on VR at the moment. Not to mention a lack of high quality full-length games. I would love to play SOMA on my Vive.

Hell yeah ! and oculus with touch controllers, Soma is such a tactile game with levers, doors buttons and switches etc, i think it would work beautifully.

Just started to play it and my first thought was 'Oh, I want to play it with HTC Vive'. I agree, such a tactile game with touch controllers would be a great experience!

Oculus Rift here. He has a point, VR is a bit crap at the moment. My main concern is low resolution and hardly any games. But VR was MADE for horror games. Case in point: Outlast.

Outlast in VR will make everyone a true believer. I dare you, just try it.

There were loads of horror games for the Oculus Rift DK1, I don't know what's happened now that the Oculus Touch and HTC Vive have rolled around. They seem to be missing (RE7 on PC with motion controls please).

Moving around in VR is terrible and Soma is not built for teleporting around as is the norm with VR.

Surely its possible to add VR rendering and add teleporting if VR input is detected, but I imagine frictional is just going to keep working on their next game.
