Good Sci Fi Horror is hard to find lately but recently I saw this movie called "Pandorum" with Ben Foster in it (big fan of him) and it takes place in a craft and is very psychological. Its not got the BEST ratings but I enjoyed it thouroughly. Ignore the reviews and give it a shot. I believe its on Netflix as well but dont quote me on that. Besides that the basics would be Interstellar (Not horror really but PURE sci fi) and a AMAZING film. The first two Alien movies: "Alien" and "Aliens".

-Event Horizon (GREAT psychological Sci Fi movie)
-Prometheus
- The Thing (not the remake but the orginal although remake is a good popcorn flick and in both movies the monster looks cool as ♥♥♥♥)
-Scanners (80's movie thats really good)
-The Cube
-Ex Machina (AMAZING)

Last but not least is "Under the Skin" with Scarlett Johanson. I am a HUGE fan of this but...It is very artsy and "out there" but if you watch it...it will literally crawl all over you after you watch it. This movie literally affected me and creeped me out in ways no other movie has.

If I think of more I will post :-) enjoy and let me know if you watch any of these!

I really enjoy the underwater setting in this game. When I first got it, I don't know why but I didn't realize that this was its setting.(I haven't finished the game yet though) I don't know how I missed it but I was amazed the first time I realized we were underwater. Because of this it brought up some movie memories of mine with a similar setting. They may not all be exactly similar in subject matter or as good as others but they are fun nonetheless.

The Abyss 1989
Leviathan 1989
Sphere
DeepStar Six 1989

Alien series (Alien Isolation is an awesome game in my opinion especially if you are a fan of the original movies!)
Europa Report
Apollo 18 (I really enjoy this one)
Jacob's Ladder
Moon
Virus (with Jamie Lee Curtis-it was okay)
Dreamcatcher
The Dark Side of the Moon 1990 (I never finished this one. When I was a kid my grandmother and I rented this and it was too weird and spooky for me to finish)

I agree about "The Thing." Great movie. The first remake with Kurt Russel. The original is good too but obviously quite different. The second remake is a fun popcorn movie but not near as good as the Kurt Russel one.

You could also watch Primer. In my opinion, it's a great Sci Fi movie that raises questions similar to SOMA. It's not a horror, there are no monsters or dark places, but it has great atmosphere of anxiety.
