Zeppelin to Theta tool chip

I understand I need to attack a robot and steal the tool chip to proceed. But how do I attack a robot? I can't seem to interact with the toolkit in the Zeppelin.

You should acquire a tool that produces an electric shock. This can be used on one of the two robots nearby - either the welding bot that follows you around, or the one babbling to itself nearby. You can left-click to zap the tool at a robot. Using the tool effectively "kills" them permanently. Once you've killed one of them you can extract the chip from their body.

Where do I acquire this tool?

The tool is located in a crate by the console you used.

Figured it out. Cross-hair is so small that I had trouble interacting with the button to open the crate!
